Why Thriller's Thrive

Thrillers thrive because they create feelings in us that make us feel in danger and excited even though we are in a safe environment. The things that happen in thriller movies are normal things that happen in real life, but they ave been made more dramatic and disturbing. The most successful type of thrillers where the audience seems to participate the most can cause the audience to relate to and sympathise with the character involved in danger. This can produce an impression of great danger even though there is no danger at all therefore playing tricks on the audience minds.
These films which seem to set blood pounding a lot are very successful.
Thrillers are more successful than horror films because in horror films the content is not directed do an audience and wide as thrillers as they are more scary and they have darker themes, e.g. (exploit sadism, perversion and deformity). The darker themes used do not appeal so much because the public is more healthy minded.
